Job summary

Slate is seeking a Facilities Manager to support the Head of Facilities in daily operations across our corporate and satellite offices, including Troy, MI and other cities. You will balance routine maintenance with project coordination to keep locations safe, efficient, and aligned with company standards.

Based at our Troy, MI headquarters with 20–30% travel, you will manage vendors, support office renovations, maintain OSHA/ADA compliance, and help with space planning and budgeting while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related facilities management experience.
• Experience managing service vendors and contractors, including bid solicitation and performance oversight.
• Proficiency with facilities management software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operational needs of all corporate and satellite office facilities.
• Oversee scheduled and reactive maintenance for building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire/life safety, access control).
• Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance program with work orders and service history.
• Coordinate site inspections to assess facility conditions and safety issues.
• Serve as on-site liaison with landlords and property managers at leased locations.
