Job summary

Xanterra’s Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel seeks a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute projects across the Grand Canyon Railway, Hotel, and related properties. You will manage schedules, budgets, and contractor coordination from conception to turnover, ensuring safety, compliance, and minimal disruption to operations.

The role requires three years of PM or facilities experience, blueprints reading, CAD familiarity, and proficiency with PM software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum in facility management, construction management, or project management within a multi-unit operation.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand CAD drawings.
• Experience with cost estimating, bid notices, and contract negotiations.
• Experience using project management, maintenance management, or capital planning software to track schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Possess or obtain a valid Arizona Driver’s License within 90 days of start date and comply with GCR Vehicle Policy.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects at multiple Grand Canyon properties from conception through completion, including punch-list, invoicing, budget reconciliation, warranty, closeout, and turnover to operations.
• Develop and actively manage project schedules, milestones, and priorities; identify delays and take timely action.
• Coordinate and hold contractors accountable for mobilization, schedule, quality, site requirements, correction of deficiencies, and timely completion.
• Plan and bid for new construction, remodels, and equipment installation using contractors or internal resources.
• Maintain accurate project schedules, budget forecasts, status reports, risk items, commitments, and completion projections.
