Job summary

Xanterra is seeking a Project Manager to lead initiatives across the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel, including the Grand Canyon Railway, Tusayan Trading Post, Grand Hotel, and Grand Canyon Hotel & Suites. You will drive projects from concept to completion, manage budgets, schedules, and compliance, while coordinating with NPS and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in facility management, construction management, or project management within a multi-unit operation.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand CAD drawings.
• Knowledge of construction, mechanical systems, and specialized trade skills.
• Experience working in project management including cost estimating, bid notices, and contract negotiations.
• Experience using project management, maintenance management, or capital planning software to track schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Possess or obtain a valid Arizona Driver’s License within 90 days of start date and comply with Xanterra GCR Vehicle Policy.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects from conception through completion at multiple Grand Canyon-related properties.
• Develop and actively manage project schedules, milestones, and priorities; identify delays and take timely action.
• Identify and resolve project obstacles, escalating issues when needed.
• Coordinate and hold contractors accountable for mobilization, schedule, and quality.
• Plan and bid for new construction, remodels, and equipment installation.
• Operate an assigned company vehicle to travel to project sites.
• Assist in compiling data for capital expense project lists.
• Provide feedback to leadership on improving project execution.
