Job summary

Marsden Services is seeking an Area Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of assigned accounts in the Vancouver, WA market. The role supervises cleaning, safety and maintaining the contracted scope of work. You will serve as the primary client contact and lead a team across multiple sites.

We seek a candidate with at least 2 years of management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to safety. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Experience supervising front line service employees across multiple sites.
• Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general cleanliness of assigned location and cleaning team: include sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash pick-up and servicing restrooms.
• Primary client contact for assigned account; regular face-to-face interaction and proactive resolution of issues.
• Investigate customer complaints, follow-up calls, document findings and communicate action plan to Senior Operations Manager.
• Complete safety audits and conduct safety training.
• Assign tasks to associates and inspect completed work for conformance to standards.
• Coach, develop and train staff to meet account needs; mentor associates to leadership roles.
• Responsible for E-Hub time keeping and general payroll duties; verify timekeeping at job site.
• Attend and participate in regional and corporate management meetings.
• Observe operations and suggest efficiency improvements and growth opportunities.
