Job summary

Marsden Services in Spokane, WA seeks an Area Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for a client portfolio within the branch. You will supervise cleaning, safety, and the contracted scope of work, focusing on leadership, employee engagement, customer engagement, growth, and safety.

You will train staff, ensure staffing levels, resolve operational issues, and collaborate with the Sales team to drive region growth while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience supervising frontline service employees.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Primary client contact for assigned portfolio; regular face-to-face interaction and issue resolution.
• Maintain proactive client contact with site visits, meetings, and timely follow-up.
• Investigate customer complaints, document findings and propose action plans to Operations Manager.
• Assist in startup of new accounts; ensure staffing, training, and smooth transitions.
• Train associates to the TECH Program for all job positions in the area.
• Coach, develop and mentor branch staff to meet needs.
• Attend management meetings and cooperate with sales for regional growth.
