Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Made2Manage ERP Configuration & Manufacturing Planning/Scheduling Consultant in the Park City, IL area with future transition to California. The role focuses on assessing, configuring, implementing and optimizing ERP planning, scheduling and shop-floor execution across multiple sites.

You will work directly with Supply Chain, Operations and IT to redesign processes, validate changes and determine if an APS/finite-capacity solution is needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring, implementing or optimizing a manufacturing ERP system.
• Strong experience with production planning, production scheduling and MRP/MPS.
• Experience with BOMs, routings, work centers, capacity, calendars, work orders and master data.
• Experience diagnosing ERP/configuration and manufacturing process issues.
• Experience collaborating with operations, supply chain and IT.
• Background in discrete manufacturing (make-to-order/engineer-to-order/job-shop).
• Ability to execute system/process changes hands-on, not only advise.

Responsibilities

• Assess the current Made2Manage environment including MRP, BOMs, routings, capacity and shop-floor processes.
• Identify issues related to configuration, master data or system limitations.
• Writes or leads changes to ERP planning and scheduling configuration.
• Improve production planning, scheduling, sequencing and schedule accuracy.
• Test and validate system changes in a real manufacturing environment.
