Job summary

Walsworth is seeking an Corporate EHS Specialist to serve as the technical expert for environmental health and safety programs across all locations. The role partners with Operations to perform hazard assessments, investigations, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and workers' compensation management.

The candidate will ensure compliance, develop safety programs, train staff, and maintain EHS documentation while interfacing with regulatory agencies to uphold best practices and incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety with 3+ years in EHS.
• Experience formulating and revising EHS policies and procedures.
• Experience managing workers' compensation claims.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and industry-specific standards.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and interface with regulators.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS operations to foster a zero-tolerance culture and ensure compliance.
• Train and orient new hires in EHS and DOT training.
• Record and maintain EHS and DOT documentation.
• Develop and implement company-wide safety programs.
• Interface with state/federal agencies (OSHA, EPA, DOT).
• Manage workers' compensation claims for all locations.
• Lead risk assessments for equipment and operations.
• Investigate incidents and prepare regulatory reports.
