Job summary

Walsworth Inc. in Marceline, MO seeks a Corporate EHS Specialist to act as the technical expert for environmental health and safety programs across all locations.

You will work with Operations to perform job hazard assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions, and manage workers' compensation claims. The role requires at least 3 years in EHS, knowledge of OSHA standards, and experience leading policy implementation across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field plus 3 years EHS experience.
• Or associate degree with 5 years EHS experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook; strong communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS operations and staff to foster zero tolerance culture.
• Train and orient new hires on EHS and DOT compliance.
• Record and maintain EHS/DOT documentation.
• Lead incident investigations and compile reports.
• Interface with state and federal agencies such as OSHA.
• Develop and implement company-wide safety programs.
• Manage workers' compensation claims for all locations.
