Job summary

Walsworth is seeking a Corporate EHS Specialist to serve as the technical expert for environmental health and safety programs across all locations. You will partner with Operations to conduct job hazard analyses, incident investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives, including managing workers' compensation claims.

The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA standards, robust documentation practices, and the ability to lead EHS policy implementation across multiple

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in EHS or related role.
• Experience formulating, implementing, and revising EHS policies and procedures.
• Experience managing workers' compensation claims.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS operations and staff to foster zero tolerance culture.
• Train and orient new hire employees and develop EHS and DOT training.
• Record and maintain EHS and DOT documentation.
• Ensure all EHS policies, procedures, and regulations are adhered to and regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated.
• Ensure completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
• Engage in incident investigations and compile and submit statistical reports and updates.
• Guide and recommend EHS activities and manage EHS data for periodic EHS regulatory documents.
• Support audit contractor and EHS policies and standards.
• Interface with state and federal agencies such as State Environmental agencies, DOT, EPA, and OSHA.
• Develop and implement company-wide safety programs and training.
• Comply with environmental management system for manufacturing facility.
• Finish written programs as per regulatory authorities.
• Suggest resources and solutions to execute EHS issues improvements.
• Investigate and inspect from federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and present EHS reports and renew applications.
• Manage workers compensation claims for all Walsworth locations.
