Job summary

Senox Corporation is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead safety and environmental compliance efforts across multiple manufacturing facilities in Texas. You will partner with facility leadership and employees to identify risks, maintain regulatory compliance, and establish consistent EHS practices throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required.
• Demonstrated EHS experience in a multi-site manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, compliance audits, risk assessments, and employee training.
• Ability to manage EHS programs consistently across facilities with different operational needs.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with employees and leadership at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize the needs of multiple facilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• OSHA certifications or other recognized EHS credentials are preferred.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% between company locations, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, programs, and procedures across multiple facilities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work closely with Coil Production Department on compliance and reporting.
• Conduct facility inspections, risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and compliance audits.
• Identify potential hazards and work with facility leadership to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Develop and deliver safety training, including new-hire orientation and recurring employee training.
• Standardize EHS procedures, training, reporting, and best practices across all locations.
• Maintain required injury, inspection, environmental, and training records.
• Analyze EHS trends and metrics to identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Oversee environmental requirements involving waste management, chemical handling, spill prevention, permitting, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage safety data sheets, personal protective equipment requirements, emergency response procedures, and facility safety committees.
• Serve as the primary EHS resource for facility managers, supervisors, and employees.
• Conduct onboarding and safety training with new employees as well as leading ongoing safety classes.
• Travel regularly between company facilities to provide hands-on EHS support.
