Job summary

CPM is seeking an Area Director of Residential Services to lead the administration and oversight of multiple residential programs. You will coach coordinators, ensure person-centered support, and sustain compliance with DDS regulations, licensing standards, and CPM policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all assigned residential programs and supervise Coordinators
• Respond effectively to crises and emergency situations
• Ensure operations comply with CPM, DDS regulations, licensing, and policies
• Monitor program quality, staffing, safety, and service delivery
• Conduct regular site visits and operational reviews
• Maintain a clean, safe, therapeutic, person-centered environment
• Conduct supervisory meetings and performance evaluations
• Monitor staff accountability and performance
• Participate in quality assurance reviews and corrective action plans
• Review incidents and ensure timely follow-up
• Oversee documentation and regulatory compliance
• Prepare programs for licensing, certification, and external audits
• Align services with Person-Centered Plans (PCP) emphasizing dignity, choice, and community inclusion
• Ensure individuals receive appropriate medical, behavioral, therapeutic, and social supports
• Monitor behavioral support and risk management plan implementation
• Collaborate with guardians, families, DDS personnel and interdisciplinary teams
• Assist with scheduling, overtime review, and staffing efficiency
• Support employee development and succession planning
• Monitor program budgets and resource utilization
• Review consumer funds documentation
• Report incidents timely and identify systemic concerns
• Collaborate with HR, nursing, clinical, QA, maintenance, finance, etc.
• Represent CPM at DDS and community meetings
• Other duties as assigned
