Job summary

NAES seeks a CT Operator / Technician to safely operate and maintain ten GE LM6000 turbines across NYC sites. You will monitor equipment, perform maintenance, and support control room operations to ensure reliable power generation.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in a related tech field and hands-on turbine experience, with strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a technical field preferred.
• Experience operating GE LM6000 or similar turbines.
• Ability to read P&IDs and electrical diagrams.
• Strong preventive and corrective maintenance skills.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Start, monitor, and shut down GE LM6000 turbines per procedures.
• Monitor operating data and take corrective actions as needed.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on turbine systems.
• Read manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Coordinate with Remote Control Room Operator for safe operation.
