Job summary

Barrow Brain and Spine is seeking a Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations at the Phoenix area clinic(s). You will ensure efficient patient flow, excellent patient experience, strong staff performance, and regulatory compliance across locations.

You will supervise staff, partner with physicians, and drive performance against budgets and service goals. Regular travel between locations is expected (approximately 25–60%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of healthcare operations experience with multi-site exposure.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in medical practice or hospital setting.
• Experience in multi-provider specialty practice is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinic operations, scheduling, staffing, and workflow.
• Ability to work effectively with physicians and executive leadership.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned clinic locations to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Implement and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor clinic performance metrics including volume, access, utilization, and staffing.
• Coordinate with Revenue Cycle, HR, IT, Compliance, and Quality departments.
• Supervise clinic supervisors and support staff; manage hiring and coaching.
• Maintain staffing levels to support provider schedules and patient demand.
• Partner with physicians to support scheduling, templates, and onboarding.
• Monitor budgets, productivity, and resource utilization; drive cost-efficiency.
• Ensure HIPAA, OSHA, CMS compliance and readiness for audits.
