Job summary

Related Affordable seeks a dedicated Multi-site Assistant Community Manager to support two affordable housing communities in White Plains, NY and Port Chester, NY. You will collaborate with the Community Manager to ensure a welcoming environment and handle administrative duties, resident relations, and compliance with affordable housing regulations.

Responsibilities include leasing support, accounts handling, and assisting in maintaining financial health, with a focus on resident satisfaction

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing.
• Familiarity with affordable housing programs (e.g., Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC) and compliance requirements.
• Experience with property management software (RealPage, OneSite, JD Edwards or similar).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing leasing activities, marketing efforts, resident recertifications, and general administrative duties.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, aid in rent collection, and assist in managing delinquencies.
• Address resident concerns promptly and professionally, and organize resident appreciation/retention events.
• Ensure adherence to affordable housing program requirements (HDC, HCR, HUD, LIHTC) and support audits.
• Colaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely property upkeep and a safe living environment.
• Assist in preparing reports to monitor community performance and identify areas for improvement.
