Widmyer Facilities seeks a dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to service two small apartment communities in Pendleton, OR. The role emphasizes hands-on repairs and responsive resident service, with duties spanning plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot efficiently, prepare units for new residents, perform preventative maintenance, and support seasonal tasks while coordinating with property management.

Formación

• Experience in apartment or residential maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and appliance repair.
• Basic HVAC troubleshooting knowledge a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize work orders, and manage time.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Complete resident maintenance requests accurately and promptly.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and painting issues.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents and perform make-ready tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine property inspections.
• Identify safety concerns and communicate larger repairs to management.
• Maintain common areas, exteriors, and grounds.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance including snow/ice removal.
• Travel between properties as needed and participate in on-call rotation.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and staff.
