Job summary

Investment Property Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Woodcreek Apartments in Fairview, OR. The role focuses on responding to resident requests, performing repairs, and maintaining the property to high standards.

You will work Tue-Sat, 8am–5pm, with after-hours on-call rotation and overtime for on-call hours. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of multifamily maintenance experience, strong customer service, and hands-on skills in plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician at a multifamily community of 100+ units.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to respond to after-hour emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
• Experience with plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
• Own hand tools and safe use knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Represent Investment Property Group in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing defects and repairing per policy and safety standards.
• Track inventory, obtain materials, and notify supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Perform general community and facilities maintenance under supervision, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Maintain positive resident relations through fair, proactive interactions.
• Assist with inspections and upkeep of common areas daily to detect maintenance needs.
• Follow a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Contribute to occupancy goals and maintain quality living experiences for residents.
• Assist management in developing more efficient maintenance methods.
• Participate in after-hour and emergency coverage rotation.
