Job summary

Chapman Management Group, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage two or more properties, coordinate move-ins/outs, and maximize occupancy while delivering high-level customer service. You will generate leads, follow up daily, qualify prospects, tour apartments, assist with applications, and maintain records.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year in sales or leasing preferred, proficiency with MS Office, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• One year of sales or customer service experience preferred.
• One year of residential leasing experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• LIHTC experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Entrata or similar system preferred.
• Strong communication with all levels of management.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Complete Chapman Management Fair Housing, Diversity & Inclusion Training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Generates and manages prospective resident leads.
• Follows up with prospects daily via phone, mail, or email.
• Converts leads to scheduled tour appointments.
• Qualifies prospective residents and tours apartments.
• Assists with applications and maintains accurate records.
• Supports current residents and updates files daily.
• Inspects apartments before move-ins and coordinates move-in/out with maintenance.
• Enter service requests and follow up to close tickets.
• Assist with resident activities to increase retention.
