Job summary

Harbor Group International is seeking a Multi-site Leasing Specialist for our multifamily portfolio. You will lead tours, screen applicants, process leases, and coordinate marketing efforts to sustain occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Active engagement with residents and vendors, accurate record-keeping in Yardi/OneSite, and collaboration with Property Managers are essential for daily operations and financial performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Experience using social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-service oriented with professional interaction with residents and vendors.
• Flexibility to work weekends if required by the property.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Qualify leads, process applications, run background/credit checks, and prepare leases.
• Ensure units are move-in ready by coordinating with maintenance.
• Execute lease agreements and move-in packages.
• Design and implement marketing plans to generate traffic and occupancy.
• Promote the community on Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns.
• Coordinate referrals, employer outreach, and local networking.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions, competitor properties, rental rates, and trends.
• Support resident retention with timely responses to questions and maintenance needs.
• Conduct follow-up communication with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction.
• Participate in lease renewal efforts by preparing renewal documents and finalizing lease extensions.
• Maintain records of interactions using property management software (Yardi, OneSite).
• Keep guest cards updated and perform follow-ups on all leads.
• Assist with rent collection and delinquent accounts.
