Job summary

Harbor Group seeks a Multi-site Leasing Specialist to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction across its multifamily communities. You will show apartments, qualify leads, process applications, and coordinate marketing initiatives to maintain occupancy and strong financial performance.

In this non-exempt role, you’ll support a Property Manager, maintain occupancy data in Yardi/OneSite, conduct tours, and help with renewals while delivering excellent customer service to residents and prospects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Experience using social media for marketing.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with detail orientation.
• Willing to work weekends if required.
• Valid driver's license for golf-cart operation if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and showcase available apartments.
• Qualify leads, process rental applications, run background checks, and prepare lease documents.
• Ensure units are move-in ready by inspecting them before occupancy and coordinating with maintenance.
• Execute lease agreements and move-in packages, ensuring smooth onboarding.
• Design and implement marketing plans to generate traffic and maintain occupancy.
• Promote the community via digital platforms.
• Coordinate resident referral programs and local networking.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions and rental trends.
• Support resident retention through customer service and timely responses.
• Conduct follow-up communication with prospects and new residents.
• Participate in lease renewals and finalize extensions.
• Maintain records using property management software.
• Keep guest cards updated and follow up on all leads.
• Assist with rent collection and delinquent accounts.
• Ensure leasing office and tour path meet show standards.
