Job summary

Canopy by Hilton New Orleans Downtown is seeking a confident, creative Sales Manager for our downtown New Orleans cluster sales team supporting three hotels. This on-property role focuses on building relationships, driving new business, and collaborating with the Director of Sales and hotel teams to hit revenue goals.

You'll generate opportunities across three downtown hotels, negotiate and close group and Business Transient sales, and manage a dynamic pipeline using Delphi and STS Cloud.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel sales across Group, Business Transient and/or Catering sales.
• Proven prospecting and ability to develop new business and grow existing client relationships.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional service.
• Collaborative mindset across multiple hotels and departments.
• Hilton and Marriott brand familiarity; Delphi and/or STS Cloud experience preferred.
• New Orleans market knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business and grow accounts across three downtown hotels.
• Solicit, negotiate, and close group, business transient, and local corporate opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, meeting planners, and local businesses.
• Conduct hotel tours, attend networking events, sales calls, and industry functions.
• Partner with the Director of Sales, Revenue Management, and hotel operations teams to maximize revenue.
• Manage sales pipeline, prepare proposals and contracts, and maintain account activity in Delphi and STS Cloud.
• Be visible and engaged at each property, ensuring a seamless client experience from inquiry through turnover.
