Job summary

Kelvion in Catoosa, OK is seeking a skilled welder to join our on-site fabrication team. You will weld metal parts, repair headers and subassemblies using MIG, TIG, or stick welding, and interpret drawings and weld symbols to ensure quality.

The role requires ability to read measurements, operate grinders, and perform gouging as needed, while maintaining production records and coordinating with crane operators. High school diploma and passing the ASME welding test are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass ASME welding test.
• Able to read drawings and weld symbols.
• Experience with MIG, TIG (open-root), and stick welding.
• On-site work in Catoosa, OK.

Responsibilities

• Weld metal parts together using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding to fabricate or repair headers or header subassemblies.
• Interpret drawings, weld symbols and weld procedures.
• Operate pneumatic or electric grinders.
• Gouge metal with carbon arc or plasma gouging equipment.
• Repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes.
• Maintain production records of parts and jobs fabricated as required by the Department Manager.
• Position pieces with overhead or jib cranes.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; work on-site and overtime as needed.
• Collaborate with others and interact respectfully with customers and colleagues.
