Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a skilled welder/maintenance technician in Northern Kentucky to join our safety‑driven operations. You will perform welding across SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SAW, repair equipment, and interpret blueprints and weld procedures to keep facilities running smoothly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, multi‑process welding experience, the ability to read technical documents, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Multi-process welding experience.
• Ability to read technical documents and procedures.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime and obtain equipment certifications.
• The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) testing is required for all hourly applicants; must meet minimum scores.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety standards (company, OSHA, MSHA) and PPE requirements.
• Perform welding using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SAW.
• Repair and maintain equipment and structures.
• Interpret blueprints, job plans, and welding procedures.
• Prepare materials and perform quality weld inspections.
• Operate shop/field equipment (cranes, forklifts, cutting tools).
• Support rigging, preventative maintenance, and mechanical tasks.
• Work in elevated, confined, and outdoor environments.
• Complete required training, certifications, and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe, efficient execution.
