Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, AZ seeks a Director of Outlets to lead all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, lounges, and in-room dining, driving profitability and guest satisfaction. This on-site role requires 6–8 years in multi-outlet F&B at upscale hotels, 3–5 years as a Director or senior leader, and strong budgeting, menu design, and people management skills.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of progressive management in multi-outlet F&B at upscale hotels.
• 3–5 years as a Director or senior leader in F&B outlets.
• Strong knowledge of cost controls, inventory, and budgeting.
• Ability to design menus and concepts aligned with guest preferences.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with outlet managers to establish staffing and scheduling.
• Approve and oversee policies for outlet operations.
• Hire, train, coach, and discipline F&B managers per Loews standards.
• Implement New Hire Training and Star Service programs.
• Ensure compliance with food handling and alcohol service certifications.
• Evaluate performance and set development goals.
• Oversee inventory control, menu pricing, and cost management.
• Collaborate with Chef and managers to update menus and concepts.
• Communicate daily with outlet leaders on activities and needs.
• Attend hotel meetings to stay updated on promotions and events.
• Respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Uphold hotel policies, safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
