Job summary

State Bank in Defiance, OH is seeking a Universal Banker Float to support the Defiance and Napoleon offices. You will assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and account services while actively identifying opportunities and referring clients to the sales team.

The role requires strong math skills, accuracy, and a courteous, proactive attitude. In addition to hands-on training and mentoring, State Bank offers development paths and incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Moderate reading, writing, and grammar skills.
• Proficient analytical and mathematics skills.
• Proficient communicative and interpersonal relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly manner.
• Identify opportunities and refer customers to sales staff.
• Meet or exceed referral and sales goals for clients.
• Handle customer concerns on statements and routine questions.
• Process deposits, payments, transfers, and other transactions.
• Balance cash drawer and prepare daily settlement.
