Job summary

State Bank is seeking a Universal Banker for our Delta, OH location. You will support customer service, sales and the paying and receiving functions in a community banking center, while coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in banking, strong math, grammar, and interpersonal skills, and are ready to grow through our training and certification path. Travel to other banking centers may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of related banking experience; opening and servicing personal and business accounts.
• Moderate reading, writing and grammar skills; strong analytical and mathematical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support customer service, sales and paying/receiving functions at the community office.
• Greet customers and identify opportunities to meet customer needs; refer to sales staff as appropriate.
• Meet or exceed referral and sales goals for business and consumer clients.
• Handle routine inquiries, process deposits, transfers, cashing checks and other transactions per policy.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products and services and ensure accuracy in daily settlements.
