Adventist Health Twin Cities in Templeton, CA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment. The role supports departmental objectives and requires performing at least three modalities regularly, contributing to high-quality patient care and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's) is preferred.
• Master's Degree is preferred.
• Three years' technical experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice is required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Must have a current certification in one modality and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, PET) is required.
• ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) is required.
• ARRT-CT or ARRT-M etc. or ARMRIT or ARRT-NMT or SNMT or ARRT-S or ARDMS or RDCS or CCI-RCS or RTPET certifications are required.

Responsabilités

• Performs various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with employee's experience. Performs three modalities competently.
• Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Tests defibrillator and checks the integrity of crash cart. Performs mobile imaging examinations as necessary.
• Safely prepares contrast agents for Medical Imaging procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical and outpatient services. Job Summary

Responsible for the operation of x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment. Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least three of the modalities listed on a regular basis. This position is represented by SEIU.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology: Required


• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): Preferred


• Master's Degree: Preferred


• Three years' technical experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
