Job summary

Adventist Health Twin Cities is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, NM and/or mammography equipment. The role supports the imaging department’s goals and requires proficiency in at least three imaging modalities.

Required qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, state RT licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice is required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Must have current certification in one modality and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality (CT, MRI, NM, US, PET etc.) are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic, mammographic, CT and/or ultrasound examinations with competence in at least three modalities.
• Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs; tests defibrillator and checks crash cart integrity; performs mobile imaging as needed.
• Safely prepares contrast agents for imaging procedures.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Job Summary

Responsible for the operation of x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment. Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least three of the modalities listed on a regular basis. This position is represented by SEIU.

Essential Functions

• Performs various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with employee's experience. Performs three modalities competently.
• Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Tests defibrillator and checks the integrity of crash cart. Performs mobile imaging examinations as necessary.
• Safely prepares contrast agents for Medical Imaging procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
