Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center seeks a Radiology Technologist (Multi Modality) for PRN shifts in a varied schedule. The role performs diagnostic procedures across modalities with independence and professional judgment.

Breast ultrasound experience is preferred, and the team emphasizes safety, quality, and patient-focused care. Responsibilities include adhering to regulatory standards, maintaining equipment and records, and delivering exceptional service to patients and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Diploma/Certification from certified school of Primary Imaging Modality required.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Ultra Sound Technologist preferred.
• Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license required.
• Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g. The Joint Commission, ACR).
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
• Demonstrates leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interacts effectively with clinical staff, medical personnel and the public.
• Maintains working knowledge of computers and basic management applications.
