Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a Multimodality Radiology Technologist PRN to join our imaging team. You will perform radiologic procedures across diagnostic, OR, and fluoroscopy settings, while maintaining patient safety and high-quality image acquisition.

You will collaborate with physicians, physicists and nursing staff to determine patient needs and ensure timely, accurate imaging. On-call availability within 30 minutes is required; prior experience and Texas CMRT/ARRT/BLS

Qualifications

• Accredited radiology technology program completion or equivalent.
• CMRT license in Texas required.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• One year hospital experience preferred.
• Associate Degree in radiology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, physicists, nursing units and other disciplines to determine patient care needs.
• Position and operate x-ray equipment, adjusting exposure factors as needed.
• Perform imaging in multiple areas (diagnostic, OR, fluoroscopy).
• Assist physicians in diagnostic procedures.
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Be onsite within 30 minutes of call when on call.
