Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL, is seeking an MRI Technologist (Multi Modality) for a PRN position working days with call. The role requires independence across multiple imaging modalities and experience in breast ultrasound is preferred.

Qualified candidates have a Florida CRT license, ARRT certification (or obtained within 12 months), and a BLS credential. The hospital offers comprehensive benefits and career growth within UHS's network.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Diploma/Certification in primary imaging modality required.
• 1+ years of Radiology Technologist or Ultrasound Technologist experience; acute care experience preferred.
• 6 months of experience in two or more modalities (CT, MR, IR, NM, US, or Cath Lab) preferred.
• Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy licensure if required by state.
• ARRT license required or must be obtained within 12 months of start date and maintained current thereafter.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic procedures in more than one modality with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance with regulatory standards (The Joint Commission, ACR) and hospital policies.
• Exhibits leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interacts effectively with clinical staff and patients while maintaining professionalism.
