Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center seeks an Ultrasound Tech (Multi-Modality) to perform routine radiographs and multi-modality ultrasound under radiologist supervision. The role is PRN with varied schedule, located in Bradenton, FL.

The technician will apply ionizing radiation procedures to obtain diagnostic images in a high-quality acute-care setting. Under the direction of a radiologist, you will ensure compliance with American College of Radiology guidelines and maintain patient safety, records,

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Formal radiologic training in an AMA approved school.
• Must hold Florida State License through the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control.
• ARRT registration preferred; in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures.
• Follow the principles and guidelines as set forth by the American College of Radiology.
• Other duties as assigned.
