Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist (Multi Modality) to support the Radiology/Imaging Department. You will perform diagnostic procedures across modalities with minimal supervision.

Requires CRT and ARRT licensure in Florida and BLS; prior radiology or ultrasound technologist experience is preferred. This role emphasizes patient care, regulatory compliance, and teamwork in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Diploma / Certification from certified school of Primary Imaging Modality required.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Ultra Sound Technologist preferred.
• Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license required.
• Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) standards and guidelines.
• Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.
• Must have working knowledge of computers and basic management applications.
