Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center seeks a Multi-Modal MRI Technologist with ultrasound experience to perform diagnostic procedures across modalities. PRN status with day schedules and call duties will apply, and independent judgment is required in a fast-paced radiology department.

Ideal candidates have ARRT/BLS credentials, Florida CRT license, and a track record in acute care settings. Breast ultrasound experience is preferred, and responsibilities include compliance with Joint Commission

Qualifications

• One (1) or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Ultrasound Technologist.
• Six (6) months of experience in two (2) or more modalities (e.g. CT, MR, IR, NM, US, or Cath Lab).
• Current Florida CRT license with fluoroscopy if required by state; ARRT certification or eligible within 12 months; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with regulatory bodies (The Joint Commission, ACR).
• Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
• Demonstrates leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
