Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Senior Radiology Manager to oversee administrative and operational management of radiology services across its large network. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure regulatory readiness, and partner with radiologists and clinicians to optimize workflow and patient care quality.

The role requires 7–10 years in radiology with 5+ years in management, NY license, and experience with JCAHO/ACR compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have 7–10 years in radiology or imaging, including 5+ years in a management or supervisory role.
• Experience managing large, multi-modality radiology departments in acute care or academic centers.
• Experience with regulatory surveys and compliance (Joint Commission, ACR).
• New York State License (LRT) and ARRT; ARDMS or NMTCB acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organization, staffing, and operational activities of the radiology department.
• Lead and oversee imaging services including MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate radiology supervisors, technologists, and staff; manage scheduling and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (ACR, JCAHO, CMS, HIPAA).
• Develop and implement policies to ensure quality assurance, patient safety, and regulatory readiness.
• Partner with radiologists and clinicians to optimize workflow and service delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and patient satisfaction; take corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain QA/QC programs for technical services; ensure equipment maintenance per manufacturer specs.
