Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in New York, NY, seeks a Senior Radiology Manager to lead the administrative and operational management of radiology services across our network, driving high-quality imaging, regulatory readiness, and continuous improvement in collaboration with physicians and leaders.

You will oversee multi-modality imaging, ensure Joint Commission/HIPAA compliance, mentor staff, optimize workflows, and monitor KPIs to balance clinical quality, efficiency, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive radiology or imaging experience.
• 5+ years in management or supervisory role.
• Experience leading large multi-modality departments in acute care or academic centers.
• Regulatory compliance experience (Joint Commission, ACR accreditation).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organization, staffing, and operations of radiology department.
• Lead imaging services across modalities: MRI, CT, ultrasound, NM, interventional radiology.
• Supervise supervisors, technologists, and staff; manage scheduling and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (HIPAA, CMS, etc.).
• Develop and implement policies to ensure quality, safety, and readiness.
• Partner with radiologists and clinical teams to optimize workflow.
• Monitor KPIs, patient satisfaction, and operational metrics; take corrective actions.
• Maintain QA/QC programs and equipment maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Oversee staff training, discipline, and performance reviews.
• Align schedules with hospital goals and staffing needs.
