Job summary

Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking a Real-Time Operations Monitor to oversee multi-modal transit system health and incident response from the ROC.

You will monitor CAD/AVL, SCADA, CCTV, coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering to ensure safe, reliable service, and report incidents with logs and service alerts.

Strong analytical judgment and teamwork are essential as you communicate impacts to customers via digital channels and PA systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor RTD's real-time multimodal transit system (Bus, Light Rail, Commuter Rail) for safety, efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate with Operations, Supervisors, maintenance, and engineering to support passenger service.
• Utilize CAD/AVL, SCADA, Transit CCTV and other control room tools to monitor fleet health and system performance.
• Record fault reports, review alerts, and manage incident logs and reports in the EAM system.
• Communicate service impacts to customers via passenger information systems, apps, websites and PA announcements.
