Job summary

Rochester Regional Health's Massena Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for multi-modal imaging. You will perform diagnostic radiology, CT, and mammography/bone density procedures under radiologist supervision, ensuring patient safety and quality images.

The role is per diem with days/evenings, M-F, 8-hour shifts, with weekend as needed; NYS radiologic license or permit required plus ARRT certification within 1 year and BLS within 3 months. Union status may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Must hold NYS license or permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.
• ARRT Certification within 1 year if licensed after 2007.
• Must obtain AHA BLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs Radiology, CT's and/or mammography/bone density procedures with proper technique.
• Assists radiologist in radiology interventional procedures and provides images for interpretation.
• Follows safety guidelines and provides radiation safety education.
• Follows patient identification, education, consents, order verification, and infection control.
• Participates in QA/QC and maintains image quality and equipment standards.
