Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Texas is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, and recommend products. You will resolve concerns and help maintain store presentation while supporting sales goals.

This role requires strong communication, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Previous customer service or delivery experience is preferred, with bilingual abilities in Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have a 'meets expectations' rating.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries when needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
