Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Kalamazoo is seeking a Branch Customer Service Specialist to help retail customers find the right paints and supplies, answer questions, and drive store sales. This full-time role requires strong customer service, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
Able to retrieve material and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
Willing to work evenings and weekends.
Internal Sherwin-Williams employee rating must meet expectations.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent sales service to achieve store goals.
Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products.
Build productive trust relationships with wholesale customers.
Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
Maintain accurate work orders and inventory records.
Pull products from sales floor or warehouse; tint and mix as needed.
Stock shelves, set up displays, and clean equipment.
Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries when needed.
Maintain in-stock and presentable conditions in assigned areas.
Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss options.
