Job summary

OVP Health Care is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care across multiple office sites in Huntington and nearby communities. The NP will work under the VP of Operations and Operations Manager, delivering high-quality medical services while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include clinical duties, education of staff, adherence to HIPAA, documentation, and timely patient care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Medical License through the State in which they practice.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Board Certification in appropriate specialty; DEA certification when applicable.
• Maintain Data 2000 Waiver (if applicable).
• Demonstrate knowledge of clinical protocols, HIPAA and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical services to patients and ensures quality care.
• Precepts and educates clinical staff; responds to questions and conducts in-services.
• Documents coding and charges accurately for services rendered.
• Maintains patient charts and adheres to documentation timelines.
• Assists in various clinical areas and adapts to staffing needs across locations.
