Job summary

OVP Health Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care and support across multiple offices in Huntington, Proctorville, Gallipolis, Ashland and Wheelersburg. The NP will work under the Operations Manager and VP of Operations to uphold clinical standards and ensure timely patient service.

The role requires state licensure, CPR and board certification, with willingness to precept staff, follow protocols, and manage diverse medical conditions in family medicine.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Medical License through the State in which they practice.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (CPR/BLS) certification.
• Maintain Board Certification.
• Maintain DEA Certification (if applicable).
• Maintain Data 2000 Waiver (30 pts first year; 100 patients thereafter).
• Maintain licensure/certification to practice medicine per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical services to patients and ensures quality medical care.
• Acts as educational preceptor for clinical staff; responds to questions and conducts in-services.
• Adheres to medical protocols, standards and ethical guidelines.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and all regulatory requirements.
• Documents coding and billing for services rendered.
• Maintains patient charts on the day of visit.
• Sees patients efficiently, balancing caseload and emergencies.
• Maintains a professional atmosphere and supports staff development.
