The Hemlock Pain Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join a fast-paced healthcare team. You will manage front desk operations, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and handle referrals across satellite offices in Dublin, Warner Robins, Milledgeville, and Macon on a weekly rotation.

You will travel to satellite offices as part of a rotating weekly schedule, ensuring smooth patient flow and HIPAA-compliant records across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as Medical Receptionist or similar administrative role in a healthcare setting.
• Proficient with electronic health record systems.
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with focus on customer service.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes.
• Schedule appointments and manage clinic calendar for patient flow.
• Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance.
• Verify insurance coverage and patient responsibility.
• Handle medical collections and process payments.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about services.
• Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
• Process incoming referrals.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient communication.
• Utilize EHR systems for documentation and scheduling.
