Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. seeks a Practice Manager to oversee two to four physician practices, driving financial and administrative performance, staff development, and patient experience. The role leads cross-practice projects and coordinates with AAMC stakeholders, reporting to the Director.

The position emphasizes effective physician relationships, operational efficiency, and strategic input across the HCE functions to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in business administration, health administration, finance or related field; and three or more years in private physician office management, OR five years in physician practice management.
• Proficient in spreadsheet software and database systems.
• Demonstrated physician relationship skills and strong communication.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Meets at regular intervals with office staff to implement performance improvements.
• Leads development of annual operating budgets for each practice and monitors charge capture.
• Monitors day-to-day operations and ensures compliant policies and procedures.
• Regularly meets with physicians to discuss operational issues.
• Acts as office spokesperson for outside agencies and contacts.
• Maintains licenses and HIPAA compliance; supports quality initiatives.
• Approves payroll and expenditures per policies.
• Communicates financial and billing information with providers.
• Maintains contact with Executive Director or Practice Director on key issues.
