Job summary

Joseph’s Classic Market is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to keep multiple Gainesville stores fully functional, safe, and well-maintained. The role combines hands-on repair work with strong coordination across locations.

You’ll perform maintenance, manage vendor services, and support preventative programs while developing problem-solving and organizational skills. Opportunities exist for growth into broader facilities or leadership roles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in handyman, facilities maintenance, or general maintenance preferred.
• Experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or commercial environments preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Palm Beach County stores.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks (doors, shelving, fixtures, drywall, painting, carpentry).
• Handle basic plumbing and electrical repairs (non-licensed).
• Pressure wash sidewalks, storefronts, entrances, and service areas.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and follow up on repairs.
• Maintain maintenance logs, inventories, and project updates.
• Communicate priorities and timelines to store leadership.
