Job summary

Mytexasneighbor in Austin is seeking an experienced insurance producer who can sell auto, home, renters, and life insurance across multiple lines. You will work with inbound leads, referrals, and existing customers to identify coverage needs and deliver tailored protection plans.

You will focus on growing life insurance business, maintain an established client base, and earn competitive commissions with direct support from the agency owner who is invested in your success.

Qualifications

THE OPPORTUNITY

You're not just selling policies. You're helping customers build a complete protection plan.

We're looking for an experienced insurance producer who knows how to sell across multiple lines and consistently deliver results.

You'll work with inbound leads, referrals, and existing customers to identify coverage needs and recommend auto, home, renters, and life insurance.

Life insurance is a major priority. We're looking for someone who can confidently lead those conversations and consistently generate life insurance sales.

You’ll have an established customer base, competitive commissions, and direct support from an agency owner who’s invested in your success.

No traditional cold calling.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Multi-Line Sales: Quote and sell auto, home, renters, and life insurance.
• Life Insurance Production: Identify opportunities, present solutions, and close sales.
• Coverage Reviews: Recommend appropriate protection based on customer needs.
• Bundling: Present multiple lines of coverage together when appropriate.
• Lead Conversion: Turn inbound leads, referrals, and customer opportunities into business.
• Customer Relationships: Build trust and earn referrals.
• Sales Accountability: Meet weekly, monthly, and annual production goals.
• Team Collaboration: Share best practices and contribute to agency growth.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications

• Proven insurance sales experience with consistent production results.
• Active Texas Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.
• Experience selling auto, home, and life insurance.
• Strong closing, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence discussing life insurance and recommending coverage.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet production goals.
• Dependable, organized, competitive, and coachable.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of insurance sales experience.
• State Farm, Allstate, Farmers, Nationwide, or comparable agency experience.
• Strong multi-line and life insurance production history.

SIGNING BONUS OPPORTUNITY

Up to $5,000 for qualified, experienced insurance producers!

$5,000 | Experienced State Farm Producers

• 4+ years of recent State Farm agency experience, including 2+ years of demonstrated P&C sales production.
• Active Texas P&C and Life & Health licenses.
• Proven auto, home, and life insurance sales results.

$2,500 | Experienced Insurance Producers

• 2+ years of recent insurance sales experience with Allstate, Farmers, Nationwide, American Family, or a comparable agency.
• Active Texas P&C and Life & Health licenses.
• Demonstrated personal lines sales production.

Payment Schedule

• $5,000 Bonus: $2,000 after 6 months; $3,000 after 12 months.
• $2,500 Bonus: $1,000 after 6 months; $1,500 after 12 months.

Bonuses are not cumulative. Payments are subject to eligibility, continued employment, satisfactory performance, and a written bonus agreement.
