Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Multi-Licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspector to perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. This role requires technical competency and the ability to work independently, with travel to job sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in fire and life safety as a technician, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• RME-I required; Additional certifications preferred.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• FAL, FEL-B, FEL-K, FEL-A certifications preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in fire and life safety as a Technician.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete tasks.
• Complete required documentation and inspection reports accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Travel to job sites as required.

This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision.
