Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Test & Inspect Technician in Florida to independently inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems on site. You will diagnose deficiencies, use appropriate tools, and complete reports while ensuring NFPA and local code compliance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in the fire and life safety industry, NICET/ACE Level II, and a valid driver’s license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in fire and life safety industry as apprentice or technician.
• NICET/ACE Level 2 certification is required.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license when driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to perform tasks.
• Complete inspection reports accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.

This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision.
