Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician in Texas to independently service, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems across job sites. The role requires practical experience, the ability to diagnose issues, and adherence to NFPA standards.

You will document work, communicate with customers, and travel as needed. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in the fire and life safety industry and a NICET Level I or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in fire and life safety as an apprentice or technician.
• NICET Level I or above preferred; strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Travel to job sites as required.

This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision.
