Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. You will diagnose deficiencies, use hand tools and testing equipment, and ensure NFPA standards are met on a variety of sites.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3+ years in the fire and life safety industry, NICET Level I or above preferred, and a clean driving record. Travel to job sites and strict safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as an apprentice or technician.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.

This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision.
