Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Troy, AL is seeking a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Associate Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive strategies that ensure on-time missile deliveries while meeting engineering and quality standards.

You will supervise exempt and non-exempt staff, handle manpower planning, training, performance reviews, and safety with ESH, and collaborate to boost throughput and reduce inefficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Experience leading manufacturing/production teams and managing budgets.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Experience managing hourly performance, training, labor records, and overtime schedules.
• Team and customer-focused with clear communication.
• Ability to obtain interim and secret clearance.
• Pass ATF background check to obtain employee possessor status.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a multi-functional work group / team.
• Provide direction to exempt and non-exempt salaried personnel.
• Manpower planning, training, and performance assessments; salary decisions.
• Collaborate with ESH to ensure safety and environmental policies are followed.
• Develop strategies to increase throughput and reduce inefficiencies.
